This scrub is most appropriate for adults with normal, combination, or oily skin who want periodic exfoliation. It is generally less suitable for very sensitive, eczema-prone, acne-flared, or barrier-damaged skin because scrubs can increase irritation. If you are using retinoids, acids, or prescription acne treatments, reduce frequency or avoid combining them on the same day to lower the risk of over-exfoliation.

Use it 1 to 2 times per week in most cases. More frequent use can disrupt the skin barrier, especially if you already use strong actives such as retinoids, alpha hydroxy acids, or benzoyl peroxide. If you notice stinging, redness, roughness, or peeling, stop temporarily and restart at a lower frequency only after the skin has settled.

Avoid applying the scrub near the eyes, on active acne lesions, on cuts, or on inflamed skin. Use gentle pressure rather than vigorous rubbing, since excessive friction can cause micro-irritation. After rinsing, apply a moisturizer and use daytime sun protection if the exfoliation is part of a broader skin-care routine. Patch testing is advisable before first use.
