Apply it 20 to 30 minutes before sun exposure, then reapply every 2 to 3 hours for ongoing protection. Reapply sooner after swimming, heavy sweating, or wiping the face with a towel, because physical removal reduces coverage. Use enough product to form a uniform layer, since under-application lowers real-world SPF performance and leaves skin insufficiently protected.
