This balm is best suited for dry to very dry, sensitive, and atopic-prone skin on the body. It is intended to help restore comfort when skin feels tight, rough, or irritated. It can be used as part of routine emollient care. Avoid use on broken skin unless a clinician has advised it, and stop if irritation develops.

It is primarily positioned as a body balm, so body use is the most appropriate choice. If you plan to use it on the face, apply a small amount first and monitor for tolerance, especially if you have reactive skin. Avoid the eye area and mucous membranes. If facial eczema is severe, follow the advice of a dermatologist.

Apply a thin, even layer to clean, dry skin once or twice daily, or more often on very dry areas. Massage gently until absorbed. For best barrier support, use it consistently after bathing or washing, when the skin is still dry and protected. Do not apply to infected, oozing, or freshly injured skin without medical guidance.
